Katiti Camp

Created to get you closer to nature, our newly built camp is situated in the reserve’s red-soiled western reaches. Katiti Camp is an intimate, closer to nature experience, with a touch of class.

Constructed sustainably among the mono-lithic granite landscape, wooden decks and thatched roofs echo the Namibian culture.

You’ll enjoy style and contentment within the expanse of real wilderness.

A day at the camp

As our camp leader greets you in the centre of camp, you’ll immediately feel at home. Camp life revolves around the kitchen, so you know you’ll be well fed and watered – just as well as there’s a world of nature to be discovered beyond the site.

f you can tear yourself away from your room – and those views – you’ll follow a winding stair to the top of the granite outcrop. From the thatched shade, you’ll drink in the panoramic view of the mountains and plains, where you can spot herds of game, as you breakfast.

As is the Ohrongo way, the day’s activities are up to you – scramble up rocks, visit migratory waterfowl or find game at home in the wild. You can explore on foot or in a jeep.

In the evening, nestled within the natural rock is our cosy fireplace and dining area. Here we’ll dine together on Namibian dishes and review the day’s safari.
